I had midterms week last week, which means no classes and no clinicals. Just midterms. I knocked out my 4 midterms on Monday through Thursday, which left me with a long weekend, including a Saturday, with no clinicals. After I finished my last midterm, I had a couple of the darling ladies I know over for lunch, and we took a delightful little walk through the cemetery nearby, where we enjoyed oodles of gravestones, and visited a couple of my favorites. It was sweet of them to humor me and my love of graveyards. Friday, word came in that all car kinks had been worked out and that we were all set to go pick it up. Unfortunately, the car we chose was up in Limerick, about 25 miles away, and not horribly accessible via public transportation. So we rode a train out to Norristown where the car salesperson picked us up and drove us to the dealership (I guess he wanted to sell a car bad enough that he was willing to do that) and we drove off in our brand new (to us) car. So exciting! Finally! The drive home from Limerick was pretty with some fall colors. It was just a good day. Since we had our new car, and I had no clinical, we decided to make a trip up to the Franklin Mills Mall on Saturday. First we slept ridiculously late, then we brunched at IHOP (yay stuffed french toast!), and we went to the mall, which is huge. We were there for hours. I think we walked through very nearly the whole thing. By the end of that, I was exhausted, so we drove home and then we had a Phillies party with some of the peeps. Go Phils! They won that game (and the one yesterday. One more to go), and we enjoyed some delicious hot dogs and hamburgers and soda and chips and chocolate covered pretzels, and other delicious eats, which is the best part of any party.

A Nice Week
In other random events of the week, we had a mouse in our apartment, which we caught on one of those sticky traps. It was so cute, but I did not want it in my apartment, so it went out with the trash. Poor little thing. Never fear, I took a picture, but I am too lazy right now to load it on my computer, so I'll get around to that later.
Now it's back to the normal school schedule until Thanksgiving week. But at least I have a car to ease the pain of the commutes from here out.
One more thing- I love Halloween. I am so happy it's in just a few days. Woo hoo!

I'm so glad you have your car to go to clinicals now! And besides, it's fun.
