This post is for my mom, who has been patiently awaiting pictures of our new(ish) apartment.
We are on the ground floor, which is always nice. There are 2 entrances to our apartment. The first is through the building that we live in. You enter through the front entrance and go down a couple stairs and our apartment is the first one on the left. We also have our very own side entrance that goes right out to the street. For all those who think Philly is a nasty, scary place (you know who you are), never fear. The door has 5 different locks if you count the screen, so I think it's pretty secure. We pretty much never use the front entrance. We just use the one on the side. That is the door you can see in this picture.
That door spits you out in our living/dining room and kitchen area, as you can see.
Here's photo of the living room and a couple of the kitchen. Those stars hanging from the roof are leftover from the Philly themed party we threw for Natalie and Robert before they left. They ended up doubling as 4th of July decorations.
If you walk off to the right of the kitchen as seen in the photo above, you get to the entryway for the other door (the one that comes from inside our building) and then back into the bedroom.
Here's what you see if you walk into the bedroom and look off to the left.
This is what is right in front of you. The door on the left is the bathroom and the one on the right is the closet.
And here's a shot looking to the right. That door is to the closet.
The bathroom is hard to photograph because of its shape but here's a shot to give you an idea. In this shot, I was standing in the area where the sink and toilet are. The floors are retro and cute.
And lastly, here's a shot of our huge walk-in closet. Unfortunately, this is the only closet in the apartment so it is acting as the coat closet, linen closet, bedroom closet, bathroom storage, etc. Thus the mess. We have been slowly coming up with ways to make it more organized and fit our stuff in in the neatest way possible. We are getting there. It would help if I didn't own a bzillion purses. Unfortunately, I can't bear to part with any of them. So there you have it.

I love it! It's way cute! And if you ever feel like parting with any of those purses, I would be glad to babysit them for you...much to my husband's dismay. Haha! Your apartment looks great! I hope we can find one that good when we go looking in November!
so cute!! it certainly is quite the snazzy apartment, especially with that collection of purses! :)
What! When did you get a better TV? Cool. Love, mom
What a great apartment--love how you have decorated it.

You already have the place looking like home. I think it's great! It has you two written all over it. It seems more open and bright than the prior one. Or is that just a photo trick? And I think the purses add a special something. Don't you?
