Are you tired of hearing about my pregnancy yet?

If you are tired of it, time to move on to a new blog, because here's another update.

I am now 33 weeks (as of tomorrow).
Yes, we have picked a name. No, I will not tell you what it is. Sorry about that.
I ran out of anti-nausea medication a couple of weeks ago and am doing okay without it at this point. I still have times when I feel extremely nauseous, but I think it has largely passed.
The baby loves to wiggle. She often takes up residence right up against my right rib cage, which can be quite uncomfortable and makes it difficult to breathe.
With such a huge stomach jutting out of the front of me, I often find myself resting things on my abdomen... my plate when I am eating on the couch, for example. The baby hates it when I do that. She almost always kicks whatever object is sitting on my belly with big, strong kicks.
I have stretch marks. :(
But I never get heartburn. :) Don't know why that is. I've never had it in my life, and I guess pregnancy is no exception.
Yes, I am very nervous. I am nervous about the delivery. I am nervous about taking care of a baby. I am nervous about carting a 2 month old to France for a few weeks.
I have approximately 1 bzillion things I would like to get done before the baby comes, including a few ambitious projects. Unfortunately, I only have the energy to do the bare minimum required of me to get through a day... sometimes not even that. It is hard to imagine tackling my projects when I can't even tackle the dishes in the sink.
Why do all maternity tops try to insist that you hang out as much cleavage as possible?
The baby wakes up to Zack's alarm clock. She doesn't get the opportunity too often as I almost always have to get up before him, but when I have days off and such, she always starts wiggling around as soon as his alarm clock goes off.
We are so excited for our little girl to join us. I am so excited to not be pregnant anymore.

The tear inducing dress

Many of you have heard this story already, but for those who have not, we were browsing in JcPenney one day, and we ended up in the baby clothes department, as we so often do. This was before we knew what we were having, but I spotted this dress and I adored it. I automatically began envisioning my little baby girl in it, and I wanted to buy it. Zack said something that reminded me that we didn't yet know if our baby was a boy or a girl and it hit me that I might have a boy and I wouldn't be able to dress him in that dress. I seemed to have forgotten that for a moment. So I burst into tears right there in the middle of the store. Zack is a sweetie and put up with my crying and even bought me the dress even though we didn't know if we would get to use it.

So here it is... the tear inducing dress.

Temple trip

On my last Saturday off, we made our way down to the Washington DC temple. We hadn't been in some time. We were looking at our upcoming schedules and we realized we won't get there again for some time. So we figured we ought to get it in while we could. The drive down was very nice, just me and my honey relaxing and chatting.
The day was overcast and the golden spires of the temple looked so beautiful against the gray sky.

Afterwards, we hit up PF Chang's for dinner (courtesy of a gift card we got for Christmas).

The drive home was not so fun/relaxing. It poured rain, it was dark, visibility was really low, and the roads were crowded. I am always a worrier/anxious person, but that has gotten much worse with my pregnancy. Being pregnant is so stressful for me that adding anything on top of that makes me nuts. By the time we were a couple of hours into the drive, I thought I was going to seriously have a panic attack. And I wasn't even driving. Imagine how Zack must've felt. Thankfully, the rain cleared up for the last little bit of the drive and we were able to make it home safe a panic attack free. Despite the less than ideal drive home, it was a really nice day.

Madeline

This darling little gem sat with us for a little while at church last Sunday.

I love her Valentine's Day outfit.
The Becks sure know how to make cute kids. Wish we could take some advice from them on the subject.

Love Day dinner

We decided to go out to dinner the day before Valentine's Day this year to avoid some of the crowds. We also decided to be adventurous and try somewhere new. We went to this semi-fancy Mexican place downtown called El Vez. Unfortunately we forgot to bring our camera with us, so forgive the quality/lighting in these pictures. We only had cell phone cameras with no flash.

It's a Stephen Starr restaurant, if anyone is familiar with him.
We started our dinner with chips and salsa, a must-have for us at any Mexican place. We give these chips and salsa a thumbs up.

I enjoyed a virgin strawberry margarita.

For our entree, we decided on the tacos for 2. They brought the taco fillings out in this enormous cast iron griddle/pan.
We got beef and chicken, and boy were they good. Yum yum tacos.

One of the best parts of it all is that it only cost us $12. We had a gift card and a rewards check that we were able to use to make our fancy dinner affordable. Thanks to my amazing husband for such a fun and fancy night out on the town for Valentine's Day.

More belly pictures for my momma.
