Fireworks

Oh my, how did we suddenly get almost half way through July already?

I had to work on the 4th of July, but after work, we had a cookout with some friends. In the evening, we decided to try a new vantage point to watch the fireworks. It seemed like a bit of a gamble because we didn't know how good of a view we would have but it turned out to be pretty spectacular. We were looking right at our beautiful skyline, and we could see the fireworks well. We also caught several other fireworks shows off in the distance. Unfortunately, I did not take any pictures, and even if I had, they wouldn't have turned out, but check out this picture that I found on Flickr that captures what we saw pretty well. So nice. We were able to catch the fireworks because I was lucky enough to have work off the next day, so I didn't have to go to bed early. I love fireworks.
