Baby's room

When we first moved here, I was excited for the baby to have her own room, and I was excited to decorate it. I had saved a bunch of stuff from my princess phase that I went through when I was a teenager and I wanted to use it in her room.  It ended up looking like this, with princess themed wall decals all over the walls.

The decals were cute, but they were old, most of them didn't even stick anymore and had to be taped up, and I felt like the whole room covered with the decals was just kind busy looking. While I really enjoyed them "once upon a time" (get it?), they weren't really my style anymore. So we decided to switch things up and after some thought, we decided to go with a Winnie the Pooh theme. Clara loves her Pooh bear, so it seemed appropriate. We still wanted it to be pink and girly though.  This is how it ended up:

 A wall of Pooh quotes.
Clara with all her Pooh friends.
I glued some honey bees on the shade of this lamp that I got on clearance at Target.

I think pet nets might be out of style these days, but Clara has a ton of stuffed animals, and it seemed like a good way to store them all, so we went for it.

We are just so thrilled with the way it turned out.
