Baby shower

My lovely mother-in-law was brave enough to plan a baby shower for me even though I live clear across the country from her.  She arranged for people to mail us gifts and set up a date when we could open them via Skype.  It really was so sweet.  Things can get complicated when you're living far away, and I have felt kind of disconnected not being able to share this pregnancy with my family the way I would be able to if we lived close.  So it meant the world to me that someone was willing to try and bridge that divide.
Here's the cute setup they had at their house.

On our end, my husband surprised me with some mega cute balloons that we put behind us while we were Skyping so that we looked all festive also.  He really is the sweetest.  I didn't take a picture at the time and the balloons have become all droopy now.  Oopsies.  We got some wonderful gifts, from the practical to the adorable, and we feel so grateful for the support and love.
Thanks for the shower Momma N.
